WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (30-1, 19 KOs) made weight for his title defense against former three division world champion Jore Arce (61-6-2, 46 KO’s) for their fight on HBO on Saturday night at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Donaire weighed in at 121.5 pounds, and Arce, 33, had to strip down nude to get down to 122 lbs to make weight. The card won’t have much else other than this fight in terms of quality fights that the boxing public really cares about.
